Today I went to the Goodwill, my self-proclaimed happy place.
As I walked out of the dressing room, a little boy said to his mom,
"Look at that lady. Me don't like her. Die, die, die."
Really. I kid not.
Thanks little man.
I appreciate your kindness.

I lost my wedding ring.
Seriously. I about had a massive heart attack.
I looked everywhere.
I even came home from work at lunch to search a little more. No luck.
Until I had an epiphany to look under my bed.
Apparently I decided to forgo being married in the middle of the night.
I just took the ring right off my finger.
All the while being dead asleep.
What the?

So I keep getting a call from this insurance guy while I am at work.
I can never say "I'm not interested".
I just feel guilty. And mean.
It's a curse.
So I have dodged his calls with "I'm headed to a meeting" or "I am with a client".
Until today. I couldn't think of an excuse.
So, I told him to call Jake.
Is it totally mean that I gave him Jake's old phone number?
Ha. Tricky tricky.

I apparently have become addicted to The Bachelor.
I have never seen it nor had a desire to.
But being home alone at night caused me to tune in.
And I am addicted.
The concept is stupid. The people are stupid.
The whole thing is just ridiculously stupid.
And yet, I can't make myself stop watching it.
Something about the complete stupidness of it just draws me in.
What can I say, I get bored.

Woah...apparently Goodwill is NOT that kid's happy place. Shesh.
And I've lost my ring under the bed before. Sleep dancing, I assume.
Glad you found your ring . . . I think Brad's ring spends more time under his side of the bed than on his finger! I bet that kids mom wanted to hid under a rock.
I make Alan watch the bachelor with me! I agree. It is SO stupid. I roll my eyes with every "I'm falling in love with him after 2 hours" comment, but, I watch it every week! Also, I have totally done the insurance phone call dodge, but I went to school with him as well, so it was more like an insurance phone call/computer lab/ run into a classroom dodge. So awkward.
Maybe that kid watches a little to much TV....I felt so sorry for you about your wedding ring, tell you said you found it, I wish I could have my wedding ring back :(, I am dealing with Insurance people right now and it makes me want to DIE DIE DIE....but not really, but it is frustrating!! As far as the Bacheoler, whatever makes you happy ;)!
Hey Miss Kate...to avoid losing my ring in my sleep (because I walk, talk, and clog in the middle of the night) I take mine off and put it in a special box I have on my nightstand. It's the first thing on in the mornings and the last thing off at night. I'm so glad you found it!! As for that dweeb of a kid, I hope you gave his mother one mean stare down as you walked by. I would have smacked him if it were my kid.
